Lemon Balm Leaf

Lemon balm, also known as Melissa Officinalis, is a wonderfully lemon-scented plant that comes from the mint family. Best prepared as infusion

Unfortunately, the tea has little flavor when prepared in a teapot/in a tea bag or ball. I much prefer to infuse in my cold brew maker for 4+ hours on the counter top, per the instructions, add some honey and then refrigerate to be enjoyed once cold. It just takes longer to prep than I was hoping for. As for the effect, I haven’t noticed a huge difference but this is my first time trying and I’ve only used it for a week.

Better than your plain Jane RRL tea

This is my fourth pregnancy drinking some kind of red raspberry leaf tea. I swear by it for quick and healthy birth. So far I’be got a good track record with no PPH either. This tea is all of the usual good things about RRL with some great bonuses. Everything else in it also helps boost breast milk production. Also super important. It has a nice mild flavor. I don’t even mind drinking it unsweetened. However nearing the end of pregnancy when I’m downing four cups a day, it gets a little boring. So I just brew up all four cups concentrated in my sweet euphoric herbals tea flask, throw it with some ice and a bottle of Snapple in my hydro flask and voila! I got some refreshing not too sweet uterine toning magic brew to sip all day. Love this tea. Love this brand. I’ll be switching over to after birth ease tea once the wee one makes his debut.

Good Pregnancy and Postpartum Blend

I was looking for something similar online to the NORA (nettles, oat straw, red raspberry leaf, alfalfa) blend the birth center I used to use sold. This was the closest I could find at the best cost. I have even been able to steep it 8-12 hours like the NORA tea with no issues. The stevia isn’t noticeable.

Good taste, nice ingredient mix

I was nervous to try this for an herbal infusion because of the extra ingredients beyond nettle, oat, alfalfa and red raspberry leaf. I usually steep it all day like my other infusions and it has worked well for that. Only complaint is I did try to email the company and ask if it was safe to do this longer steep since I had no idea how much of the other ingredients were in it compared to the safe nourishing herbs, but I didn’t get a response back. Beyond that I’ve had a good experience with it. I generally don’t like stevia but it isn’t noticeable to me in this. Thanks for offering this pregnancy blend!!
